The Raptors pay a visit to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia to compete for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. They lead the series 3-2 and will be looking to seal the deal in tonight’s game.
The 76ers, on the other hand, will look to fight back and revive themselves in this series by forcing a game 7. The good news is that they are at home under the backing of their home crowd.
Lets us analyse the scenario for both the teams ahead of tonight’s clash.
The visitors this time, Raptors, have removed the Drake curse by routing the 76ers in front of the rapper and home fans.
The Raptors were a delight to watch in the last game with all the starters in double figures. Pascal Siakam led the scoring with 25 points and eight rebounds on the night. With him, Kawhi Leonard scored 21, and Kyle Lowry added 19 points to the scoring sheet. Also, Danny Green and Marc Gasol added 17 and 11 points respectively.
From the bench, Serge Ibaka was reasonably productive and played for 22 minutes, scoring 10 points with two rebounds.
The Raptors are immensely confident coming into this game and will be looking to replicate their last game’s performance tonight.
The 76ers will look to bounce back tonight and make this series even. Last game saw a horrible display of offence and defence by the 76ers, as they were restricted to just 89 points, leaking 125 in the game.
Joel Embiid has not been at his best in these playoffs and scored just 13 points in the last game. This has been a sign of worry for the 76ers, and he needs to stand up tonight. With him, Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris were the other two starters in double-digits. Both of them will have significant responsibility on their shoulders tonight.
The bench has been equally unsupportive for the 76ers which needs to change in the final two-game if they need to take home the series.
Raptors: Kawhi Leonard, Marc Gasol, Pascal Siakam, Kyle Lowry and Danny Green.
76ers: Jimmy Butler, Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons, and JJ Redick.
Joel Embiid has to stand up for his team if 76ers want to have any chance in this series. However, I won’t take a chance with the 76ers as Embiid has been in a horrible form in the playoffs. With him, other players have also looked gloomy.
The Raptors just outclassed the 76ers in the last game and will do it again this time.
