Golden State Warriors will travel to LA to battle it out for last time this season at the Staples Center.
The Warriors are coming off a massive victory over the Denver Nuggets where they won by 116-102. Boogie Cousins had a great night as he led the Warriors squad with 28 points along with 13 rebounds. Kevin Durant scored 21 points in just 21 minutes alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson who scored 17 and 13 points respectively. Also, Draymond Green grabbed nine rebounds and dished nine assists.
The Lakers, on the other hand, are coming off a loss against the Thunder. Caldwell-Pope had a good night as he scored 23 points along with five rebounds and four assists. Rest of the scoring was evenly distributed as Moritz Wagner, JaVale McGee and Mike Muscala each scored 10 points while Reggie Bullock and Alex Caruso scored 13 and 15 points respectively.
Golden State Warriors
With the win in the last game against the second seed Denver Nuggets, the Warriors have clinched the top position in the Western Conference. As a team, they are as healthy as they ever will be and with just a few games left in the regular season, head coach Steve Kerr will make sure he makes enough rotations to try new things out.
Demarcus Cousins just had a big night in the last game and is looking good to go in the playoffs. Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry have all performed well this season and are fit and ready for the playoffs.
Warriors are giving rest to Shaun Livingston and Andrew Bogut for the game against the Lakers. Kevin Durant, on the other hand, is suspended for this game as he picked his 16th Technical foul of the season in the game against the Nuggets.
Los Angeles Lakers
Lakers are now out of the playoff contention and LeBron is not going to play in the playoffs after a very long time. They have a lineup that is full of injuries this season and this is one of the reasons that this team has not been able to perform well even in guidance of none other than LeBron himself. Following is the list of injuries in the current roster of Lakers:
Kyle Kuzma is questionable due to foot injury, Tyson Chandler (flu) is doubtful due to illness, Josh Hart due to knee, Brandon Ingram due to arm and Lonzo Ball due to ankle are all out for the Lakers. LeBron James is also out for the rest of the regular season.
