The 14th match of Vivo IPL 2019 will be hosted by the Rajasthan Royals who play the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on 2nd April 2019. Both the teams have a similar situation in this season losing all the matches they played.
Disappointment could be seen in the RCB dugout as they lost their third consecutive match against SRH. Warner and Bairstow built a strong partnership that took the total for SRH to 232. RCB lost some quick wickets and ultimately lost the one-sided match. This was the third loss for RCB in the third encounter.
Rajasthan Royals is a team meant to be a potential winner of the 12th season of IPL. RR lost their third battle against mighty CSK. Dhoni led CSK to put up a massive target of 176 at the Chepauk pitch meant to be bowler friendly. RR had a good start but ultimately fell short of 8 runs.
The pitch at Sawai Mansingh Stadium seems to be balanced providing excess support to pace bowlers. Expecting shower of runs in Jaipur.
Royal Challenger Bangalore
To beat the huge target put up by the host, RCB needed a good partnership but lost their top players in the first six overs making it inevitable that RCB will have a tough time in the match. Grandhome and Prayas looked in excellent touch and tried to build a partnership, but apparently, the team fell for another low score of 113. SRH outplayed RCB in all departments.
RCB might not make changes in the playing XI.
RCB Probable XI:
Parthiv Patel, Moeen Ali, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer, Colin de Grandhomme, Shivam Dube, Prayas Barman, Yuzvendra Chahal, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj.
The batting line-up of Rajasthan Royals seems to be punctually providing some great knocks time-to-time. The fact that RR lost all the matches is due to poor bowling brigade. RR put a tough fight against CSK having a good start in first ten overs but lost the grip in death overs where CSK bowlers bowled well and kept taking wickets.
There are not many options for RR to try this season. The current playing XI looks confident enough to take on any opponent, but luck seems not to favour them. No significant changes expected in the line-up
RR probable XI:
Ajinkya Rahane, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, Rahul Tripathi, Krishnappa Gowtham, Jofra Archer, Jaydev Unadkat, Shreyas Gopal, Dhawal Kulkarni
Dream XI predictions:
- Wicket-Keeper: Jos Buttler
- Batsmen: Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Sanju Samson, Steve Smith
- All- Rounders: Ben Stokes, Colin de Grandhomme
- Bowlers: Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat, Mohammed Siraj, Prayas Barman
Both the teams are craving for their first win. Rajasthan leads the head to head count by winning 9 out of 19 matches played with 2 N/R. Considering the batting line-up of RCB and pitch conditions, we expect RCB to take the lead in the game
