The Houston Rockets lost in a closely fought game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Referee Scott Foster called two offensive fouls on Harden. While the first one came early in the first quarter and limited his minutes, the second one came towards the end of the fourth quarter.

Harden fouled out with six fouls, thanks to Foster’s call and the guard did not hold back post-game. This is what he had to say after the game.

“Scott Foster, man. I never really talk about officiating or anything like that, but just rude and arrogant. I mean, you aren’t able to talk to him throughout the course of the game, and it’s like, how do you build that relationship with officials? And it’s not even that call [Harden’s sixth foul, ending his night]. It’s just who he is on that floor.”

Just like you would expect, the NBA fined him $25,000 for “public criticism of the officiating.”

It is worth mentioning that Chris Paul also fouled out while coach Mike D’Antoni picked up a technical foul.
