The Raptors are going in for complete domination this year, and the recent trades are a proof of it. They have made significant moves during the trade window, acquiring Marc Gasol and now, they have been reported to add another player to their roster, Jeremy Lin.
According To what agents Jim Tanner and Roger Montgomery told ESPN, Jeremy Lin is on the verge of a buyout with Atlanta so that he could sign with the Raptors.
Check out the tweet by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski below:
Lin has played for 51 games for the Atlanta Hawks this year and averaged 10.7 points and 3.5 assists per game. However, he is much more than his stats and will provide great versatility to the Raptors’ team.
The Raptors want it bad this season, and this move is another stamp to the tale. They are currently sitting at the 2nd place in the Eastern Conference and have added Marc Gasol who scored 7 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished one assist, stole the ball twice and had a block to his name in his debut for the Raptors. Surprisingly, he played just 19 minutes in the game. The best part was his passing skills which took a lot of the players off-guard.
“He caught a lot of those guys off-guard. They’re not expecting it as much, you know? Most of the guys in the league don’t expect that. He’s such a great passing big. It’s hard. You gotta be ready at all times.”——Danny Green told CBS Sports
By adding Lin to their roster, they will strengthen their wings and add another versatile playmaker to the team.
