As the teams saunter their way to the NBA All-Star games, there is still some business to be taken care of. The Golden State Warriors will be paying a visit to the Phoenix Suns tonight. If we look at the standings, then both the teams are on the complete opposite ends- Warriors are the topmost and Suns are the bottommost team in the West.

The Warriors have been on an excellent run lately, beating almost everyone coming their way. The addition of Cousins has been what they were looking for a long time. He has been explosive and dominated the floor in the last few games.

With that, Klay Thomson and Shaun Livingston have come to life. They both have been playing with more confidence and putting up good numbers.

Steve Kerr spoke to the media on Thursday and raised concerns about people not talking about what they can achieve this season but about whom they will trade in future. Rightly said!

These were his exact statements according to the CSNBA:

Instead of the focus being on the Warriors playing for a third straight title, all the focus seems to be on where everybody’s gonna be playing next year. And look, that’s part of the deal — especially if you sign a 1-year deal and you’re a superstar and you’re gonna be a free agent — those questions are gonna come.

The Suns, on the other hand, do not have much to offer against the Warriors. Their best cards, Wayne Ellington, Tyler Johnson, and Devin Booker have been listed as questionable for tonight.

The matchup to watch out for however will be between DeMarcus Cousins and DeAndre Ayton. Ayton, the rookie, has been good this season and has excellent athletic abilities. How he will face Cousins will be a thing to watch tonight.

Prediction:

The Suns have been horrible and are expected to be the same tonight.

They have faced each other twice this season and the Warriors have easily beaten the Suns in both the games.

The Warriors will have a massive victory again.

The Golden State Warriors will rout the Phoenix Suns tonight
