Lavar Ball: Lebron Can’t win a championship without Lonzo Ball

Lonzo's father Lavar Ball has always been the centre of controversies with his media statements. Recently, at the Undisputed with Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe and Jenny Taft, he said that if Lakers' trade his son they are never going to win a championship.

The Lakers made a lot of offers to get Anthony Davis, but the Pelicans rejected every proposal.

According to the reports, their best offer included trading all of their young core, Stephenson, Rondo, Beasley and two future draft pics. But even that was not sufficient for the Pelicans.

Lonzo Ball’s name also included the list. It was not long ago when Lonzo was considered a long term option by the Lakers’ Management. He was the no. 2 pick and a future point guard option for them. But today they are ready to trade him for something better.

We all know that Ball’s performance has declined over time and has also been dealing with injury problems from time to time. He is averaging 9.9 points and dishing out 5.4 assists per game in this season and has been out for some time due to an ankle injury.

With that in mind, let us come to the main news.

Lonzo’s father Lavar Ball has always been the centre of controversies with his media statements. Recently, at the Undisputed with Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe and Jenny Taft, he said that if Lakers’ trade his son they are never going to win a championship. Furthermore, he added that Lebron could never win a championship in LA without Lonzo ball.

Check out the clip of the statement below:

Two days ago, when we started hearing that Lonzo has been offered in the trade to the Pelicans, Lavar Ball said that Phoenix Suns would be an ideal destination for his son rather than the Pelicans.

Check out the tweet below:

Lavar has always been very vocal about his son from the moment he was about to make it to the NBA. But looking at Lonzo’s small career till now, he has not been that impressive. He has lost track of his three-point shot and has been in and out of the team due to injuries.

Nobody will agree with you Lavar right now!
