We are up for action at the Garden tonight. I am talking about the Madison Square Garden, not the TD Garden as the Knicks play host to the Boston Celtics.
The Celtics currently sit at the fifth place and looking good for now. They have lost only one game in their last eight played and will be looking to get their third straight win tonight.
They missed the services of Kyrie Irving in the previous game but played well without him to rout the Charlotte Hornets by 32 points.
Jaylen Brown was the leading scorer with 24 points and ten rebounds, followed by Jayson Tatum with 20 points.
Terry Rozier was the starting point guard in the absence of Irving, and he performed well, ending up with 17 points and dishing out ten assists.
The Celtics will be looking to dominate again tonight against the struggling New York Knicks.
New York Knicks:
The Knicks have been horrible this season as nothing has been working for them. They are sitting on the last place in the Eastern Conference.
The Knicks lost to the Dallas Mavericks in their last game. Enes Kanter played for 10 minutes and scored 5 points, whereas, Hardway Jr. had an off night with just six points to his name.
The only bright spot in this Knicks team is Kevin Knoxx, who has been good for them and is one of the youngest players in the league. He is a talent that will yield well in the future.
But for now, the Knicks have been falling down the hill, and need a miracle to win against the Celtics tonight.
The Boston Celtics are a better team on paper as well as on the court. They might again be without Kyrie tonight but have enough firepower to beat this degenerating Knicks side.
There is no way I am betting on this Knicks side.
